Where is the Job

I took a position with a plastics firm in Ohio about six months ago. I was told they were in the midst of creating a position that would fit me to a “T”. I discuss this with HR before I left to accept the position, I’m from Tallassee, Fl. They wanted me to get to know their way of doing things before I took over the workload. It’s one month before I am supposed to start and now they are telling me there is going to be a six delay in starting the project. This is straight-up BS and they know it. I am now forced to make a decision about my career. I don’t trust them anymore and am thinking about looking elsewhere for what I truly want to do in my career. Lying as bosses should be penalized or fined for getting me to move from Florida and then reneging on the job.
